Atelier Beliaert

Atelier Beliaert is a gallery led by Bram Eliaert, better known as Beliaert, born in Ghent in 1977. Since 2001 he has dedicated himself to creating bronze sculptures. His studio, centrally located between the Vrijdagmarkt and Sint-Jacobs, offers visitors a unique insight into his artistic process.

Beliaert draws inspiration from nature and the human body, attempting to capture a sense of balance and harmony in his work. His signature balancing figures and abstract trees depict the deep connection between man and nature. While Beliaert reminds us of the nearness of a post-apocalyptic future, he believes that nature will ultimately find its way and triumph.

This special selection includes his iconic balancing figures and monumental abstract trees, which together tell a powerful story about resilience, nature and human existence.
